i dont say anything bc the server times you out until you can send a message again
a different mod says everyone but the art assets guy is an unpaid volunteer
i express that i was just saying my opinion and that its kind of fucking weird that the artfight staff arent paid after the site existing so long for the work they do. like you guys work your ass off and arent compensated for it while the site still shits itself every year consistently.

like idk why youre defending this site when you arent paid. hit the bricks if you hate seeing frustrated users. maybe if the site hired a coder to assist the volunteer one there'd be more than one coder and less frustration since then the site might work more smoothly. but then af would need to compensate everyone fairly so i assume thats why they work a volunteer skeleton crew. 🙃
maybe there'd be less conjecture on where the money goes if staff aren't paid and the site still crashes every year if there was more financial transparency? if this is a project for the art community then, yknow, maybe letting the community as a whole know where the donations go would be the absolute minimum effort of being reasonable?

don't crucify me but i think that some white people are making their miguel o'hara headcanons transmasc/a trans man because they think it makes him less threatening as a man of color and that's NOT alright. ESPECIALLY if you consider yourself an ally to POC and an ally to transgender people. some of you need to reevaluate the way you think about transgender men, transmascs, and men of color.
